The hardwood that I most commonly use for my boards are walnut, maple, oak, hickory and cherry. These are domestic woods. I’m the type of artist who typically doesn’t repeat the same design. With every new board I create I try to challenge myself to come up with a new design. This creative process keeps the imagination flowing and inspiring. As an artist I’m searching for a niche in this industry. A style that sets me aside from all the rest. I may have found the style with the “Gradient boards.” The subtle change of color from dark to light. There are many designs I can come up with while maintaining the gradient effect. It’s a style that I haven’t seen out there and makes these boards stand out from the rest. I enjoy knowing that each board I make is one of a kind. An original piece of Art that one would enjoy using for years to come.
